Research InterestsMy primary research interests are assessing wildlife populations and habitat use patterns. I have extensive experience with avian population estimating techniques, including but not limited to, distance estimating point counts, mist net use, banding, and radio telemetry with a diverse number of bird species and habitat types. I also have expertise in capturing and using remote acoustical ultrasonic detectors (Anabat II) to assess habitat use and population levels of bats. In addition, other taxon sampling includes terrestrial and aquatic insects, vegetation, small mammals, and herptofauna. This diverse sampling includes rare, threatened, and endangered species. All data collection includes statistical analysis, interpretation and reporting.
